《English Picture Idioms 365》는 하루에 한 가지 숙어를 익혀 1년간 총 365가지의 숙어를 배울 수 있도록 구성돼 있다. 숙어 표현과 함께 흥미로운 삽화가 소개되어 있어 영어학습에 있어 지루할 틈이 없다. 영어 단어와 마찬가지로 영어 숙어도 알고만 있으면 소용없는 일이다. 숙어를 활용해 일상생활 속 대화문에 녹여낼 줄 알아야 한다. 하루에 하나씩 배우는 영어 숙어로 다양한 문장을 스스로 만들어가다 보면 어느 순간 나의 영어 구사력이 원어민과 비교해 보아도 손색이 없을 만큼 자연스러워질 수 있을 것이다.
경희대학교 사범대학 영어교육과를 졸업 후 미국 Vermont의 St. Michael’s College에서 TESOL 석사 학위를 취득, 인천과 강원도 소재의 고등학교에서 영어 교사로 20년 동안 재직 중에 있다. 다수의 EBSi 수능영어와 EBSe 영어프로그램에 10여 년 동안 출연하였고, EBS 독해, 듣기 및 문법 교재를 포함한 다양한 중, 고등학교 영어교재 및 7차와 8차 중학교 개정 교과서 작업에 참여하였다. 단독 저서로는 《달랑 한권으로 끝내는 만화 영문법》(성안당), 《All New Time for Gramma》(YBM), 《즉석 영어회화패턴 900》(반석출판사) 등이 있다. 최근에는 다양한 교재의 삽화 일러스트로도 활동하고 있다.
